We are an international architecture and engineering firm headquartered in San José, Costa Rica. Founded over 30 years ago by architect and president Richard Müller, the firm has built a sustained reputation for design excellence across Costa Rica's most diverse and demanding environments — from hillside estates in the Central Valley to oceanfront villas on the Pacific coast of Guanacaste, Puntarenas and Nicaragua.

The firm's portfolio spans luxury residential design, commercial and office architecture, hospitality and spa resort development, clubhouses, and large-scale master planning. Rather than working within a single architectural language, RM Arquitectura adapts its approach to the character of each site and client — whether that means bold contemporary structures defined by floor-to-ceiling glazing and cantilevered terraces, or residences that respond to the vernacular requirements of planned communities and established tropical traditions.
